This is official description applies to version 2.9
RSS Feed Creator is a easy-to-use desktop RSS editor that allows you to create and maintain your own RSS news feeds and podcasts. it is the best solution for WYSIWYG editing of RSS feeds and podcasts that does not require any basic knowledge of XML. Besides, RSS Feed Creator can quickly convert HTML into RSS, supports uploading via FTP, works with graphics and exports using templates.
The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 1.0
RSS has become very important for any website, and the best way for informing visitors of new website updates. It will increase the traffic from returning visitors. RSS Feed Creator is an easy-to-use, and easy-to-learn program that allows everyone, from the novice to the professional webmasters, to build professional and 100% valid RSS feeds.
This freeware application will allow you to choose the preferred RSS version for your output. It supports from the early 0.9 version and up to the latest 2.0. It will enable you to add as many channels as you need, and fill them with unlimited number of items.
Each item can have its own "More information" link, where users can visit for further reading of the RSS feed news item. Moreover, the program can check whether that link is correct or not. You can specify a local file, and upload it later on to your website, which enables you to add Podcasts and attach any media file related to your news feed.
The program lacks some advanced functions, such as the option to manage multiple RSS feeds, and the ability to upload your output RSS to your website via FTP.
Free and fast.
Source code available.
Valid RSS syntax.
No integrated FTP client.

The program didn't work with the latest .NET framework version 4, but the following version 1.1 is only needed. Here is the link : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=262D25E3-F589-4842-8157-034D1E7CF3A3&displaylang=en
This actually looks like an abandoned piece of software and the link here really offers to take you
to two places. One of which I think is the SourceForge repository for the original software (buggy and last
commented on almost 2 years ago) and the other is a link to a shareware site that does not offer
this product as free. I was excited to use it to create RSS feeds for my users on Moder Web Hosting but I think this
software entry should be marked as .. non-managed or something on this site.
